Dr. Moalemi will be Among a Group of Physicians Getting the COVID-19 Vaccine

On 12/11/2020 the FDA approved the COVID-19 vaccine. As a member of medical staff of Virginia Hospital Center, this morning we received an email announcing the availability of the vaccine for their physicians, nurses and healthcare providers. I have signed up and will be receiving the vaccine on Saturday December 19 at 10AM. The second shot will be three weeks later on January 9, 2021. Stay tuned as I will chronicle my journey, including the timeline, at which I develop antibodies on my website under “Dr. Moalemi’s Blog Corner.” I will be testing to look for antibodies frequently. Best hopes for a return to a healthy and normal 2021.
